About The Brand

Founded by Rhuigi Villaseñor in 2015, R H U D E is a Los Angeles-based design venture that masterfully blends luxury techniques with streetwear elements, presented as ready-to-wear collections.

The brand is designed from a narrative perspective, reflecting modern socioeconomics and personal stories from Villaseñor’s journey to Los Angeles.

R H U D E consistently incorporates American iconography and nostalgic references, offering a visual commentary on the style and culture of Los Angeles.Villaseñor, who studied art history after high school and interned with Shaun Samson, had no formal fashion design training. His understanding of garment construction comes from his mother, a tailor, which provided him with a foundational knowledge of building each piece and crafting the stories told through his collections. RHUDE’s evolution mirrors Villaseñor’s own journey from adolescence to maturity, a theme evident in each collection. As both the Creative Director and the brand mature, they continue to resonate with an ever-growing fanbase. This journey reached a milestone with RHUDE’s debut presentation during Paris Men’s Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2020 Collection, marking a significant achievement in the brand’s ongoing narrative.
